The Los Angeles County Fair my be over for the year, but its cousin has plunked down in the San Gabriel Valley.
State Fair Entertainment Los Angeles runs July 21 to Aug. 20. It’s all at Santa Anita Park, 285 W. Huntington Drive, in Arcadia.
The attractions include: the Extreme Zone, featuring the Wheel of Destiny and Human Cannonball, concerts, carnival games and rides, pig races, dog stunt shows, motocross and BMX stunt shows.

Fair foods include funnel cake, deep-fried Oreos, cotton candy and Juicy’s Outlaw Grill, featuring 83 feet of grilling space — where 1,500 giant turkey legs will be prepared.
