
Today is the day, as all 32 NFL clubs are required to reach the 53-man roster limit by 4 p.m. ET. This is the toughest round of cuts for NFL general managers, as players who flashed in the preseason will be let go, as will veterans who find themselves in crowded rooms. Today is also when teams will game plan for their 16-man practice squads and identify the young talent they want to retain, although not on the active 53-man roster.
Here’s a running tracker of all 32 teams’ roster cuts, keeping in mind that many of these players will end up either claimed by other teams or back on their original teams’ practice squads for 2022:
