UH develops technology for future Artemis missions to Moon and Mars : Big Island Now

Researchers from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa have used space grant funding to create new technology that will assist NASA’s Artemis project. Photo Courtesy: UH Mānoa UH Mānoa researchers from the Hawaiʻi Institute of Geophysics and Planetology developed “foundation enablers” which are advancing the project’s satellite infrastructure for a prolonged presence on the Moon. Satellites are important communication devices to relay information from space to Earth.
