The Witcher 3’s Next-Gen Vaginas Were A Mistake, Devs Say

I know Yen, I’m calling BS, too.Image: CDPR / KotakuThis post contains NSFW references, proceed at your own risk.Honey, hurry, they’re going to nerf The Witcher 3 vaginas.Kotaku posted a story yesterday pointing out that The Witcher 3 next-gen update added realistic vaginas, and suggesting that these kitties were one of the many fan-made mods CDPR added to the updated game. In the original Witcher 3, women who were shown in full-frontal nudity had no visible genitals, just a sort of smoothed-over, Barbie doll area. In the next-gen update, which released for free this past December, it seems that the crones from Crookback Bog and the bruxas (the only women NPCs that regularly do full-frontal without any obscuring shots or panties) have landing strip-styled pubic hair and visible labia. When...

Could really use some help here.Screenshot: FromSoftwareThe wait is finally over if you’ve been dying for more Elden Ring content. Just days before The Game Awards, where fans have been (and probably should still be) speculating that developer FromSoftware would announce some sort of add-on for the game, the Japanese studio took to Twitter today to confirm that its most popular Soulslike will get some free DLC in the form of Colosseum, a PvP update coming to the game on December 7.The Colosseum Update will let you roam The Lands Between with a friend as you “prove your worth in various duels and battles, together or on your own.” It appears to let you enter a gladiator ring of sorts, in which you can set up bouts with your friends to see who is strong enough to become the true Elden Lord. ...

Tencent And Sony Acquire 30% Of Elden Ring Maker FromSoftware

Image: FromSoftwareElden Ring wasn’t just a hit with fans of FromSoftware’s notoriously difficult action-RPGs. FromSoftware is expected to gain $260 million from the arrangement.Today’s announcement from FromSoft’s parent company Kadokawa revealed that Sony and Tencent are acquiring 14.09% and 16.25% of FromSoft, respectively. Free-To-Play Smash-Like MultiVersus Was July’s Top Selling Game

Screenshot: Warner Bros. The best-selling video game last month was a free-to-play fighter from a company in flux. Yes, MultiVersus, also known as Super Warner Bros. Melee, topped the sales charts for July 2022, according to data-tracking firm NPD.Released last month following an open beta period, MultiVersus is a platform fighter in the same vein as Nintendo’s perennially popular Super Smash Bros. series. Its gimmick is a roster similarly featuring a ton of disparate franchises—in this case, all from under Warner Bros.’ vaulted ceilings. You can play as characters from the likes of AdventureTime (Finn the Human, Jake the Dog), Rick and Morty (Rick, Morty), Looney Tunes (Bugs Bunny, the Tasmanian Devil) the DC extended universe (Batman, Superman, buncha others), and more. Confusingly, Multi...

Elden Ring Player Proves Faith Builds Rule With One Shot Kills

Elden Ring’s faith stat is pretty flexible to build around, particularly because developer FromSoftware baked so many incantations and spells into the game. Still, it tends to see very little use at high levels, as YouTuber Your Average Gamer put it in an email to Kotaku Dot Com, folks claim it’s not as good as other in-game stats like the health-defining vigor. In an effort to prove the masses wrong, Your Average Gamer took their ardent belief in faith and put it to the test. Not only did they take on the hardest difficulty possible, they also absolutely demolished a variety of bosses, including ones like Radagon and the Elden Beast, in a single attack. It’s nuts!Matthew “Your Average Gamer” Farnkopf is a YouTuber dedicated to putting together “crazy Elden Ring builds.” They’ve got a vide...
