Biden returns to Pittsburgh to see new construction on bridge that collapsed earlier this year

The Fern Hollow Bridge in Pittsburgh became a symbol of the country's troubled infrastructure, collapsing into a ravine earlier this year, hours before President Biden visited the city. On Thursday, the Democratic president returned to the bridge in hopes of turning it into a symbol of success for his administration.  US President Joe Biden speaks about the rebuilding the nation's infrastructure at the Fern Hallow Bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 20, 2022. - The bridge carrying Forbes Avenue through Frick Park, collapsed early on January 28, 2022, hours before Biden was due for a P...

Dr. Oz bought Palm Beach mega-mansion with help of man embroiled in immigration fraud scheme

Among Pennsylvania U.S. Senate candidate Mehmet Oz's 18 known real estate investments, none is larger or more valuable than Louwana, a 10-bedroom historic beachfront mansion in Palm Beach, Florida. The 18,559-square-foot estate has been valued at more than $36 million, according to local appraisal records. In an interview with Boca Raton Magazine in 2018, the celebrity physician described the mansion as "our house" and raved about Palm Beach, which he said was "like a playground to me in many ways."The opulent Florida property has so far escaped the level of attention given to some of Oz's other houses, such as the New Jersey mansion where he resided for years until 2020. Oz's Democratic opponent in the hotly contested race, Pennsylvania's Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, has hig...

Trump claims FBI search at Mar-a-Lago is going to produce backlash

Wilkes-Barre, PA — In a speech that lasted nearly two hours on Saturday night in northeastern Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump decried the FBI search at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida as "one of the most shocking abuses of power by any administration," and compared his treatment to that in a "third-world nation." It was his first rally since the FBI served a search warrant Aug. 8, seizing dozens of documents marked as classified. "The shameful raid and break-in of my home, Mar-a-Lago, was a travesty of justice that made a mockery of America's laws, traditions and principles before the entire world," Trump said before the passionate crowd at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre.Mr Trump said, without merit, that the FBI and the Justice Department have become "vicious monst...
